The Monthly

"A lot of consults I’ve had for reconstruction seem to have this narrative that you know “oh I’m just being vain,” “I’m being selfish,” or they don’t feel worthy and put themselves down. Women have been expected to put up with these things, and its just not the case. I want everyone to know that many people are candidates and that you deserve the discussion around reconstruction whether you choose to do it or not."

- Dr Natalie Ngan.

This month, we spoke with The PCOS Nutritionist Shahzeen Baig.

We discussed all things PCOS: from how to be diagnosed, presenting symptoms, all the way through to her success story helping a Dr and client of hers fall pregnant with twins after years of trying!

As always, grab a tea, kick back and relax and let’s chat PCOS.

We were curious, how much does our hormones play into our skin health? Hormonal acne is a term we’ve all heard before, but what does it really mean? Who does it affect? Is it the same kind of acne you experience as an awkward teen mid puberty? Or is it entirely different?

We are so excited to bring you your guide to getting your FIRST period. We will cover all things first time flow, and hopefully have you feeling a bit more prepared for your first period by the end! Get comfy and grab yourself a warm drink because we are about to spill the tea.

After World Continence Week we got thinking about light bladder leaks. We wanted to know more! Why do they happen and what can you do about?
So, we sat down with Pelvic Wellness Physiotherapist Fiona!
Intro on our NEW Easy Undo Period Briefs - what is so special about them? When it’s time to change underwear, the handy hook featured on each side allows you to easily unclip and slide them off.
Join us as we delve into why this week matters, how you can make a difference, and ways to destigmatise bladder incontinence.
In honour of Mental Health Awareness Month, we thought we’d take the opportunity to check in with our Love Luna team. We’re taking the time to get to know them, their cycles and what tools they use to practice self-care.
